Walt Disney Pictures ‘Jungle Cruise’ seeking featured extras

The Walt Disney Pictures live-action adventure feature film “Jungle Cruise” is seeking people who can portray South American indigenous natives. Those selected by the director will participate in some very exciting scenes that will shoot anywhere from 10 – 20 days/nights beginning in mid-July. All ages are being cast.

“Jungle Cruise” will star Image Award winner Dwayne Johnson and Golden Globe Award winner Emily Blunt. Spanish filmmaker Jaume Collet-Serra will direct from a screenplay written by Academy Award nominee Michael Green. Dwayne Johnson who is also producing stated, “I envision this film a period piece in the vein of Humphrey Bogart’s The African Queen.” This project is currently using the working title of “Elixer”.

“Jungle Cruise” Casting Call

The following extras and featured extras are needed to work various dates in July and August, on the Walt Disney Pictures live-action feature film “Jungle Cruise” (working title “Elixer”). Shooting for these scenes will take place in Atlanta, GA beginning in mid-July, 2018. Approx 10-20 days shooting. Pay rate is $120 each day, with overtime after 10 hours. The average film day is approx 10 to 14 hours. You MUST be willing to work as a local hire, transportation and accommodations are not provided (standard for all extras in the entertainment industry).

SOUTH AMERICAN MEN, WOMEN and CHILDREN – Must be able to portray South American indigenous natives (all South American countries, especially Peru, Brazil, Ecuador, Columbia). This film takes place in the early 1900’s, and this will be an exciting experience for all involved. Men & women ages 18-80, Infants/Children/Teens from 0-17. Real families, please submit together in ONE email.

Important: To be considered for acting or extra roles on “Jungle Cruise”, all talent must have legal eligibility and work permits to work on films in Atlanta, GA where filming is taking place.

Include current, clear photos showing you from the chest up (one smiling and one non-smiling) and a few that are full length. If you are a family/couple, etc., include a group photo if possible. List your first and last name, phone number(s), city and state where you’ll be coming from, email address, age, height and weight. If you have any tattoos, list where and how large they are. Include the following… sizes for men: jacket, collar, sleeve, waist, inseam and shoe; for women: dress size, bust/bra/cup, waist, and shoe; and for kids: pants, shirt and shoe. Also list your South American nationality that you can portray. IF you have any acting experience or other experience on set, please list, as well as any experience with martial arts, combat/fight training, etc. Experience is NOT required, but it’s helpful to know.
