Paramount Studios, Arad Productions, and Marvel Studios have teamed up to begin production on the feature film The First Avenger: Captain America.
Chris Evans has been cast for the role of Steve Rogers. Evans has signed for up to three “Captain America” movies. Hugo Weaving has been cast to play to play Red Skull. Weaving is best known for his role as Agent Smith in The Matrix trilogy.
Filming begins June 28, 2010 and the release date is scheduled for July 22, 2011. Shooting Locations are Manhattan Beach, CA and London, UK.

Story:
