The casting director for the upcoming Walt Disney Pictures’ Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2, Rich King, is looking for dogs with funny, special, and unique talents to be a part of the film. Here is your chance to show off your best friend. The scene is the Beverly Hills dog show and your purebred could be part of the movie. No talent too big or too small.
If interested, they are asking that you please email your name, contact info, a video of your dog and its talent, a picture of you and your dog, breed, and any miscellaneous information to:
Casting will start the week of September 21, 2009, so send in your submission as soon as possible. They are filming in Los Angeles. Works the end of October, beginning of November 2009.
In addition, “Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2” is set to go before the cameras in October – but without Drew Barrymore and Piper Perabo. The hunt has begun to find a new actress to voice Chloe, the character voiced by Drew Barrymore in the original, and a new actress to replace Piper Perabo, who won’t be returning as Rachel. A few others also won’t be returning.
New characters to be cast in the sequel include Papi Jr, son of the original film’s hero, Papi, Antonio and Alberto, two German Shepherds training to be police dogs; and a stuck-up standard-size poodle named Appoline.
Please submit photos, resumes, and voice-over demo reel by mail only.
No phone calls or personal drop-offs.
