Filming on “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” has wrapped.
Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will be shooting in Los Angeles, CA in August, 2010. The extras casting directors are holding open casting calls to hire photo doubles for the starring and supporting actors as well as extras to appear in the film as pirates. There is no experience necessary, however you must be 18 years or older and be legal to work in the United States.
Here is what they are seeking:
Authentic-looking scavenger-types, ages 18 to 60s, all ethnicities, especially extreme characters – very thin, lean body types, very tall, very short, emaciated, odd features, huge nose, bulging eyes, big ears, lazy eye, grizzled and wrinkled faces, odd body types, missing teeth etc.
British Soldiers: Very, very handsome, ages 18 – 35, 5″10 to 6’1, caucasian.
Also casting photo doubles for lead and supporting actors that can fit the following sizes and looks:
Pirate 1: Caucasian, 6’2, 185lbs, 32” waist, long blonde dreads 20 years old.
Pirate 2: Caucasian, 5’10, 168lbs, 33” waist, 40 coat, dark curly shoulder length hair/blue eyes, 23 years old.
Pirate 3: Caucasian, 5’10, 140lbs, 32″ waist, short gray beard short salt and pepper hair 50 years old.
Pirate 4: Caucasian, 4’11, 107lbs, 40″ waist, gray beard and hair 60 years old.
Pirate 5: Caucasian, 5’8, 145lbs, 30″ waist, reddish long curly hair, grayish beard, 52 years old.
Pirate 6: Caucasian, 5’11, 170lbs, 34” waist, bald head, red beard, green eyes, 40 years old.
Pirate 7: Caucasian, 6’1, 125lbs, short brown hai, light beard, 40 years old.
Pirate 8: African American, 6’5, 215lbs, 43” waist, 43 years old, long dreads, long beard.
Pirate 9: Hispanic, 5’4, 165lbs, waist 32″, curly brown shoulder length hair and beard, 22 years old.
Pirate 10: Hawaiian/Asian/African American, 5’8, 170lbs, waist 34″, dark dreads just past shoulders, beard with gray, 49 years old.
Pirate 11: Chinese, 5’8, 135lbs, waist 30″, short gray hair and beard, 60 years old’
Open Casting Call Details
Bring a 3″ x 5″ current color photo, does not have to be professional. No wigs, makeup or sunglasses in photos and please shoot it from the waist up. If you do not have a current color 3×5 photo, we will take one for you for $2.00. Also bring a pen or pencil. You do not need to prepare for an audition, the casting directors will be simply have a look at you, have you fill out a registration card, attach your photo and send you on your way.
