Joanne Baron Presents Meisner Acting Seminar


Joanne Baron, the Artistic Director and founder of Baron Brown Studio will host a free acting seminar on the Meisner Technique on Monday, March 26th at 1pm, Santa Monica, California.

Joanne Baron studied under Sandy Meisner in his private class, having originally trained with renowned acting teacher, William Esper, the head teacher of Sanford Meisner’s Neighborhood Playhouse in New York City for over 14 years.

She subsequently went on to form the Baron Brown Studio with her husband, DW Brown.

This seminar introduces the Meisner Technique. It will also give an in-depth explanation of the Studio, and it is an opportunity to meet Joanne. Attendees will see why so many successful actors have studied the Meisner Technique. It should last 1-1.5 hours.

The Studio has been a wellspring for the theatrical casting and producing community for over forty years and continues to produce gifted actors, writers, directors, and producers who bring their training and talent to all aspects of theater, film, and television. Alums include Halle Berry, Robin Wright, Mariska Hargitay, Patrick Dempsey, Leslie Mann, and more.
